Douglas Apple, MD is the former Chief Medical Officer for Spectrum Health located in Grand Rapids, MI. Spectrum is a 5 billion dollar health care system located in western Michigan.
Doug provides details of his growing interest in medicine as a career during the first semester of his freshman year at Grand Valley State University while pursuing a degree in accounting. Doug attended Saba University in the Dutch West Indies, returning to the US to complete his clinical rotations.
